App privacy

Clear choices. Limited data.

This policy explains the data used for local play, online matches and rankings, optional rewarded ads, purchases, and support.

Updated 16 August 2026

Scope This policy covers the Siege Winds mobile app and this static website. Online-match and advertising details apply only to builds in which those features are enabled.

Data kept on your device

Siege Winds stores progress and preferences locally so the game can work. This can include unlocks, campaign checkpoints, in-game balances, cosmetic choices, local match state, records, language, audio and vibration settings, and a randomly generated local guest identifier.

  • You do not need to provide a real name or email address for local play.
  • Your operating system may include app data in a device backup under your Apple or Google settings.

Online matches and rankings

When you use online matchmaking, Siege Winds uses Unity Gaming Services to create a game account identifier and process the information needed to run the match: your chosen in-game name or pseudonym, match and turn state, match results, rating, ranking, and related win/loss records. This information is linked to the online game account, not to a real name supplied by you.

Unity processes this data as our service provider to provide online play and leaderboards. Other players may see the in-game name, rank, and results that the game presents to them. We do not use online-match data for advertising.

Optional rewarded ads

Siege Winds uses Google Mobile Ads only when you deliberately choose one of these rewards:

  • 10 purple gems for cosmetics, limited to three rewards per UTC day; or
  • a second deterministic fragment exchange that day, after the free exchange: spend 3 surplus cannon fragments to receive 1 fragment for the cannon you choose.

The reward is granted only after Google confirms completion. Purple gems unlock cosmetic items and do not add competitive power. Fragment exchanges never change fragment odds or cannon damage. Ads never grant or gate another Solo or Campaign attempt. With an active no-ads entitlement, the purple-gem ad is not shown and 30 purple gems are credited automatically once per UTC day instead. The entitlement does not grant the second fragment exchange. The app does not use banner, interstitial, native, or app-open ads.

Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) runs before any ad request. Where consent is required, Siege Winds waits for a valid choice. If consent cannot be established, the app does not request an ad.

When an ad is requested, Google may process consent status, app and device information, IP-based approximate location, advertising identifiers when available, ad interactions, and diagnostic information to deliver, measure, and protect the ad service. See How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Siege Winds does not add an Apple App Tracking Transparency prompt. This does not mean Google processes no data. When Google requires privacy options, you can reopen them from Settings → Privacy & Support → Ad Privacy Choices.

Purchases, support, and this website

The Siege Winds team is responsible for the game’s use of the data described here. We use Unity Gaming Services for online game functions and Google services for optional ads and consent. Apple and Google process store payments. These providers may also handle data under their own privacy policies and legal responsibilities.

If an in-app purchase is available in your build, Apple or Google processes the payment. Siege Winds and its purchase service process the transaction reference, product, resulting entitlement, or cosmetic-currency grant to provide the purchase and restore it where available. We do not receive your full payment-card details.

If you email us, we receive your email address, message, and any attachment you choose to send. We use it to answer the request and investigate the reported issue. Please do not send passwords, payment-card details, identity documents, or other unnecessary sensitive information.

This website adds no analytics, ads, tracking pixels, forms, or scripts and sets no cookies. GitHub Pages may process standard connection data to deliver and secure the pages under the GitHub General Privacy Statement.

Your controls and contacts

You can remove local game data by using your device’s app-management controls or uninstalling the app. This can erase local progress. To delete an online game account and its associated online game data, open Pause → Online Duels → Delete account in the app. If you cannot use the app, contact us at the address below. Deleting the online account does not cancel store purchases or remove data that Apple, Google, Unity, the email provider, or the website host must retain under their own policies or legal obligations.

We keep support messages only as long as needed to answer or investigate them. Online-match information is retained by Unity Gaming Services according to its service and retention settings, until it is deleted, expires, or must be retained for security or legal reasons. Apple, Google, Unity, the email provider, and the website host apply their own privacy and retention controls to data they process.

We make no fixed response-time promise. This policy will be updated if the app’s data use or services change.
